Welcome to the Natural Language Processing and Information Systems Group.

We are a research group within the University of Alicante working on the field of natural language processing (NLP). The group was created in 1993, thanks to a small number of teachers from the Software and Computing Systems Department. Since then, it has been growing up to more than twenty people currently.

Several pieces of work and PhD theses on word sense disambiguation, question answering and information retrieval have been done.
